Abstract

The intersection of Healthcare Information Technology (IT) and Precision Livestock Farming (PLF) presents a promising frontier for innovative solutions aimed at enhancing animal welfare, productivity, and sustainability. This paper explores the convergence of these fields, focusing on the integration of artificial intelligence (AI), sensors, and cloud computing infrastructure. Through a comprehensive review of literature and case studies, we elucidate the potential of AI-driven analytics and real-time monitoring technologies to revolutionize livestock management practices. We discuss the role of sensors in capturing critical data on animal behavior, health indicators, and environmental conditions, enabling proactive decision-making and early intervention. Moreover, we examine the transformative impact of cloud computing in facilitating data storage, processing, and collaboration across stakeholders in the agriculture and healthcare sectors.
